Staffordshire Bull Terriers are energetic, fun loving, very strong dogs in a medium-sized package. They have a lot of energy and require fair, firm and consistent training to become a loyal, trustworthy companion. If you get a Staffy, plan on committing time, money for training, and energy into developing your pup into the family friend you want. Our dogs are not suitable for apartment or rental home life. Good dogs are created by a responsible breeders & dedicated owners.
A dog is a 10-15 year commitment. To have a happy, mentally healthy dog and a great relationship for you with your dog, we require you to participate in a minimum 8 week obedience course for your young dog, starting no later than 4 months old. We can assist you in your search for obedience trainers in your area. Additionally, as we are professional dog trainers, you will have ongoing support for any questions you may have.
Our dogs are health tested for OFA Hip, OFA Elbow, OFA Patella, OFA Cardiac, OFA Thyroid, Juvenile Hereditary Cataract (JHC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), L2HGA, NCL4A. We ensure that our foundation dogs are fully health tested prior to any breeding plans.
If you live in the greater Phoenix area, we will offer complimentary obedience classes for our Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies. If you are outside of Arizona, we will provide assistance in locating a suitable trainer for you and your dog. We recommend trainers that follow the AKC Canine Good Citizen training platform.
We require all puppies, unless they are show/performance companions, to be spayed or neutered by their first birthday. A Limited Registration will accompany all Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies sold as companion family pets, which means they cannot be bred.
